to examine the world of old people as an artist. An appeal in the local press yielded 24 respondents, all of whom she visited and photographed. It was a long and intense period in which those being portrayed felt involved in her project: for a while they were needed, for a while they were someone again.

Dubbel-portretten van 100-jarigen, vroeger en nu.
Na de dood van haar moeder ontstond het idee de wereld van oude mensen als kunstenaar te onderzoeken. Na een oproep in de lokale pers kwamen 24 aanmeldingen. Allen bezocht zij en fotografeerde ze. Het was een intensieve periode, waarin de geportretteerden zich bij haar project betrokken voelden: voor even waren zij nodig, voor even werden zij weer íemand.
